Since its inception, America has been the pioneer of man’s future freedom. In signing the Declaration of Independence, our Founding Fathers had the courage to take a stand for individual freedom. They knew the oppressive control of Great Britain had broken so they took action for something that would benefit the entire nation for generations to come.
We are living at a time unlike any other in history. Our world is rapidly changing. There are paradigm shifts taking place in all areas of our society. The Internet has forever changed the way that we live. It has made the world much smaller. There is more opportunity not only for us here in America, but for people in all parts of the world, albeit, some more than others.
Today we realize that America has been blessed with more liberty than any other nation on the planet, yet it’s still a far cry from the vision of our Founding Fathers. As individuals with free will, we have the luxury of having a choice. We can choose to have a lazy, apathetic attitude towards ourselves, our nation, our finances, our families and our situations in general, or we can choose to take responsibility; not only for our own lives, but also for our families, our communities and our country.
While some may think this type of patriotism is idealistic, it really is the only way to solve these problems. We will either be at the effect of the various circumstances in our life such as debt, personal problems, high taxation, and unethical political leaders, etc., or we will be at cause and take more responsibility! Responsibility equals FREEDOM and POWER! When you take back your responsibility, you will regain freedom and power back in your life.
